Most Fridays, We All Count hosts Talking Data Equity, a free, drop-in hangout where we get real about making data choices that actually support equity. Bring your tricky questions, half-built dashboards, and “is this okay?” moments. Some weeks we have guests, some weeks we swap templates and tools, and other times we nerd out on stats. Total beginners and seasoned pros both fit right in.

April 3: Talking Data Equity is on break this week
I intentionally draw on We All Count’s teachings and practices to guide our approach to racial health equity, and I reference them when working with external partners and collaborators. Their philosophy supports us in centering community voice, challenging extractive systems, and aligning our daily work with our values.
– Artrese Morrison, Executive Director, Health Leads
Talking Data Equity is the only place I’ve seen serious technical data work discussed alongside real questions of power, harm, and responsibility. It makes me think differently about my own projects every single time.
– H Sun, Public Policy Information Officer
This is the only data web series I’ve attended to that treats equity like part of the actual job, not some extra thing on top. It’s definitely made me a better analyst and honestly a little more careful about the calls I make.
– Sam L, Data Engineer, Tech Sector
The Talking Data Equity conversations, hosted by We All Count, provide invaluable resources and “best practices” sharing for everyone who is passionate about data and/or social justice, regardless of where we are on our equity journeys. Any person or group aiming to strengthen their technical skills within a supportive, justice-oriented community will find a welcoming home here, learning alongside leading cross-industry experts to build a modern, inclusive, and ethically grounded data future for everyone.
– DW, Public Health Sector
